Teaser Tuesdays

Teaser Tuesdays

Grab your current read. Open to a random page. Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page. BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!) Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Argh, for the first time I had a mishap with this meme. I jumped ahead in my book to pull a teaser and unfortunately I gave away to myself a really crucial plot twist! I think from now on in novels I should stick to the part of the book I've already read, provided I'm further than 10 pages in, for the Teaser.

The Unit by Ninni Holmqvist
p. 80

"But I shouldn't complain," said Johannes. "At least there's no physical danger, no chemicals, and no scalpals involved."

Bummer. But you might find a book with a great teaser on the very first page.

I only ever skip ahead if I'm thinking about not finishing the book. Hitting a plot twist can sometimes keep me reading. Not hitting one almost guarantees I'll give up on the book.

Oh that's too bad! I hope you will still be able to enjoy the rest of the book. I usually randomly flip through the part of the book I've read or go with the book I just finished.

Good teaser. I looked this book up and it sounds like a fantastic and suspenseful novel.

Try to forget you even read it. Sounds like a grabber though. I hope you are enjoying the book so far. My TT is here

Nice teaser. I need to add this to the TBR. My teasers are at The Crowded Leaf.

I bought this book on a whim last year and its been on my TBR list since. I'll definitely have to read it soon. Sounds intriguing!

Oh no, I'm sorry that you spoiled yourself! I really like the teaser you picked.

Oh sad! How did you know it was a crucial plot point? I still like the teaser though!

Here's my TEASER.

Carin, it was really obvious. But I don't want to say why because I think everyone should read the book and I don't want to give away a spoiler to you! I finished it last night and it made me cry. Fantastic book. If you read it, then I'll tell you how I spoiled myself. :( Luckily, while I did give away a big twist, turns out I didn't give away the whole ending.
