"Waiting On" Wednesday

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted here, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating. This week's pre-publication “can't-wait-to-read” selection is:

The Spellmans Strike Again by Lisa Lutz

A final entry in the Edgar Award-nominated series finds intrepid private investigator Izzy Spellman tackling her most formidable case yet while struggling to outmaneuver her lovably paranoid family. By the author of Curse of the Spellmans.

Honestly, I've not read the first 3 books in this series yet but I've had the first one, The Spellman Files, for several years now. I keep thinking I'll get around to it! The whole series sounds so cute. The back of the first book describes Izzy as "equal parts Sam Spade and Bridget Jones."

This is out on 3/16 from Simon & Schuster.

I hope that it will be everything you hope it will be. Here's mine.

I have a similar Spellman problem. I promptly read the first one when it came out, and adored it. For some reason, though, I haven't read one since. One day soon...
