Liar's Poker: Rising Through the Wreckage on Wall Street by Michael Lewis p. 14
"This day in 1986, however, Gutfreund did something strange. Instead of terrifying us all, he walked a straight line to the trading desk of John Meriwether, a member of the board of Salomon Inc. and also one of Salomon's finest bond traders. He whispered a few words."
Gutfreund is the boss.
I had no idea that Michael Lewis actually worked at Salomon Inc. I thought he just reported on it like his other books, but I guess as this was his first one, reporting on something he knew made the most sense.

A funny book about Wall Street? Might be much-needed or too much at this point in time, depending on the author's angle.

Good teaser! A book about Wall Street would probably put me to sleep, but if it's funny I might be able to handle it. Maybe. Hope you're enjoying it!
My teaser.
This isn't the usual type of book that I read, but it sounds pretty good. Might have to check it out :)
HERE is my teaser for the first day of June!
Oh, I read that a million years ago and it was terrific! Enjoy!
