Teaser Tuesdays

Teaser Tuesdays is hosted by Should Be Reading

Grab your current read. Open to a random page. Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page. BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!) Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Flawless: Inside the Largest Diamond Heist in History by Scott Andrew Selby and Greg Campbell p. 129

"The vault looked like a bomb had gone off, with shrapnel made of gems and gold. Safe deposit box doors stood agape around the room."

This is a really exciting story, a real-life Ocean's Eleven!

Here's a couple:

"I crane my neck to look up at the coaster. I've only seen it from a distance, its humps rising from the decaying ruins like a the back of some serpentine monster we once learned about in school."

"The moan echoes around us, slicing into the hum of our bodies pressing together, and is followed by a silence so complete that I feel empty inside."

Good teasers?

love the cover with the sparkling gems... next to food my love for gems is a woman's dream to see all that lies in the vault.

Posted teaser on Aisle B so come on by if you get a chance. Serving tequilas again since CMash ate all the guacomole dip.
