This book won the Pulitzer! I haven't read enough of those. Thanks book club!

Are you enjoying this one? I tried to read it a few years ago but just couldn't get into it.
I have to admit that I am always suspicious of books that win the pulitzer - i just never seem to enjoy them at all. This opening sentence is great though....
