Book Beginnings on Friday is a meme hosted by Katy from A Few More Pages. Anyone can participate; just share the opening sentence of your current read, making sure that you include the title and author so others know what you're reading.
Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly
"Those who can, do. Those who can't, deejay."
Sorry, I had to do two lines! The first line is lame without the second. A funny opening to a YA novel.

I forgot how funny the opening line was of Revolution. Which is ironic since the book isn't really funny at all, but there is one comic-relief character. Hope you love the book.
My book beginning is part of my book review for the wonderful historical novel: Between Shades of Gray.
New follower!

I loved Revolution. I listened to it on audio. It's one of my favorite reads from the last 12 months.
I've been wanting to read this! Sounds like a witty beginning.
Thanks for participating in Book Beginnings!
