It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

This meme is now hosted by Sheila at One Persons Journey Through a World of Books.

Books completed last week:
Liar's Poker by Michael Lewis

Books I am currently reading/listening to:
Reading the OED: One Man, One Year, 21,730 Pages by Ammon Shea
Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress by Dai Sijie

Well, I haven't given up yet, but I'm thinking about it. Does anyone want to convince me to pick it back up? I made it to page 85 but I find it pretentious. Haven't picked it up in 3 weeks:
The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery

Up Next:
Houghton Mifflin Harcourt is a great midlevel publisher. Here are some HMH books on my TBR list:
What Is Left the Daughter by Howard Norman
Twisted Tree by Kent Meyers
The Hand That First Held Mine by Maggie O'Farrell

I've put down a couple of books in the past few months, but I promise myself that I will pick them back up :)

Take care.

Ugh. I hate books like that, it really gets you in a rut! I say drop it for the moment, give it a rest and if you decide to you can pick it up again after you are back in the swing of things! Good luck!

Have a fantastic reading week and if you get a chance, stop by: Monday Reading's at There's A Book
