Teaser Tuesdays

Teaser Tuesdays is hosted by Should Be Reading

Grab your current read. Open to a random page. Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page. BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!) Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Still Life: Adventures in Taxidermy by Melissa Milgrom p. 56

"To win at the highest level, you want to make your own jaw sets," he said, holding polyurethane cougar fangs in his right hand and fake bobcat teeth in his left. With snarling jaws in each of his hands and, of course, his own straight white teeth, he resembled a three-headed demon casting an evil spell. His next topic was how to soak, freeze, cast, and pickle tongues.
Yes, the topic is creepy and strange, and yet I am captivated.

Oh. Dear. Lord. This sounds both hilarious and scarily serious. I think I must read it (if only for the looks on my friends' faces when I sit there with the book). Great teaser!

If you'd like, you can check out mine here.

Very strange, and kind of creepy, but oddly interesting. :) My teaser is at The Crowded Leaf.
