This meme is now hosted by Sheila at One Persons Journey Through a World of Books.
Books completed last week:
How I Became a Famous Novelist by Steve Hely
Twelve by Twelve: A One-Room Cabin Off the Grid and Beyond the American Dream by William Powers
Hatchet by Gary Paulsen
Books I am currently reading/listening to:
John Adams by David McCullough (audio)
Shogun: A Novel of Japan by James Clavell - yes, I am as tired of seeing this book on my list as you are. So I have a new strategy. I am going to read (at least) 10 pages with my lunch every day. I am nearly halfway through, and not about to give up now although it's tempting. So I have roughly 700 pages to go. At 10 pages a day, I should finish in 2 months. And hopefully I'll occasionally pick it up in between and read a little more.
Up next:
Gang Leader for a Day by Sudhir Venkatesh
The Tennis Partner by Abraham Verghese
Boy: Tales of Childhood / Going Solo by Roald Dahl

Twelve by Twelve sounds interesting! Have a great week!
I have not picked up a Roald Dahl book or a Gary Paulsen book since my teaching days. Enjoy! Have a wonderful week. My Monday: http://www.rundpinne.com/2011/05/its-monday-what-are-you-reading-41.html
I hear you when it comes to having the same book on your current reading list for so long. I've had My Life by Bill Clinton on my Monday meme since I started my blog...last August :D Enjoy Roald Dahl--he's one of the best.
I remember my grandmother raving about Shogun. She always had a chunkster going.
This coming week is my last week off before summer session. I have a few books I want to finish before school begins. Come see what they are.
You did good. Come, have a look at what I read last week!
Here is my Monday: Mailbox/What Are You Reading?/Musings post!
