Crazy: Notes On and Off the Couch by Rob Dobrenski
"As a twenty-four-year-old graduate student, I met with a patient I'll call Bill, who was a chronically depressed fifty-five-year-old man."
Bill's problem: depression, mostly due to his blindness
Bill's solution: driving
Rob's problem: what to say to a blind man who's just driven a car, even if he's the happiest he's been in years? Hmmm. They don't cover that problem in school.

I love stories about psych patients and a blind man driving has to top the list for attention-getters. Good choice. Enjoy the book and I look forward to your thoughts on it. My BB post is up.
My initial thought was that this doesn't really do a lot for me, but on a second read it's actually quite amusing. If the rest of the book is written in the same manner it could potentially be a real gem :)
Sounds pretty funny so far. Is it non-fiction?
Sounds like some interesting stuff is coming :)
Great teaser!
Here is my BBF :)
I have read about 50 pages of this book, then got sidetracked with other fiction books. Will get back to it eventually... can't wait to hear what you think of it!
