Teaser Tuesdays is hosted by
Should Be Reading.

Grab your current read. Open to a random page. Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page. BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!) Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
The Round House by Louise Erdrich p. 17
"I should go back to school, even though there were just over two weeks left until summer. When she was better, she would make us a cake, she said, and sloppy joes."
Sadly, she's not going to be better quickly. But here you get a hint of the style of the book, since it does not use quotation marks. Not one of my favorite styles.

Sounds like a sad kind if novel. I hope things pick up for you.
I'm not a robot! I hate word verication, so will probably never leave another comment. Sorry.
I'm sorry about that Gigi Ann! But whenever I've taken off the verification, I've gotten so much spam it's hard to keep up with.
I've been meaning to read this one :)

If only sloppy joes were the only thing missing.
Great teaser. Please check out mine.
No quotation marks? That sounds like it would be hard to read! I hope you're enjoying the story.
My Teaser is from CHRISTMAS CALLING.
Interesting teaser! My teasers this week are from The Great Trouble by Deborah Hopkinson and Dark Witch by Nora Roberts. Happy reading!
This was a excellent read.
